2025 HAC Swim-A-Thon
Thank you to all of HAC'S Swimmers and Donors!
Thank you to all the HAC Swimmers and Families that supported the 2025 Swim-A-Thon! It was an epic event full of fun, team building and lots of hard work from our swimmers. It’s amazing what we can achieve when we work together as a team! Here are a few highlights from the event.
- 148 swimmers participated!
- HAC families surpassed our goal and raised $34,000 for HAC!
The fundraiser is run through Swim Canada. HAC will receive a grant for 90% of the gross amount raised through Swim-a-Thon. We expect that these funds will be disbursed to HAC in July 2025. Of the 10% retained by Swimming Canada, the Provincial Section is given a 4% grant which Provincial Sections use to support Swim-a-Thon; 3-4% is for processing fees, updates to the Swim-A-Thon online system, and prizing; and the balance of 1-2% goes towards National swimming programs.
